The Greeks and South Africans are renowned for their hospitality and love of good food. Now, visitors to a new fish restaurant in Bromley can experience both. British cuisine offers a rich variety of tasty dishes like roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, Lancashire hot pot, steak and kidney pie and, of course, fish and chips.
However, the UK is a diverse nation where immigrants from former colonies and refugees have made a new home. In the process, each group has made its unique contribution to the nation’s culture. Consequently, many now enjoy foreign dishes like teriyaki beef, chicken tikka masala, mousaka, spaghetti alle vongole, paella and sushi. As a South African expat, this is just what I am used to. What I love and have missed most about this restaurant are the exceptional variety of delicious seafood dishes and the unique flavours of the Mediterranean that always kept me and my family so eager to return for more. I can’t help envying the locals who live within easy reach of this awesome seafood restaurant because, unlike me, who wanted a home by the sea, they have access to a memorable and delectable dining experience.
The extensive main menu offers diners exceptional variety, with starters like oysters, soups and salads, all rich with the flavours of Greece and the Mediterranean. Those who choose the Take Two option can pick from tasty seafood duos like prawns and mussels or calamari and Cape hake. If you’re also a calamari lover, try it cooked in three ways: grilled, fried and cajun-spiced.
